This is the system we developed for our own family, based upon the workings of a Benedictine monastery. Â Children are assigned duties based upon the titles and occupations of Benedictine obedientiaries, and chore cards are distributed once weekly or monthly to help remind them of their individual tasks.
Rewards system is flexible (rewarding the individual or the family as a whole) and optional.
